Veteran in Puerto Rico trade accepts top leadership role for Sea Star Line.

Industry veteran, Peter Keller has been named president of Sea Star Line. Keller served Sea Star Line as a consultant and key advisor during the recent restructuring of the company. His extensive experience in the Liner industry, intermodal operations and supply chain economics and strategies, coupled with over 40 years associated with the Puerto Rican trade, made him a natural choice to lead the organization. “Peter knows this market and has a long history in this trade. He brings insight, experience and vision for the future. We are fortunate to have him join the TOTE, Inc. and Sea Star team,” says Anthony Chiarello, president of TOTE, Inc., Sea Star Line’s parent organization.
Prior to establishing an international maritime consultancy, Keller was EVP and Chief Operating Officer of NYK Group Americas, Inc. “Sea Star is fully committed to serving the Puerto Rico and Caribbean markets with the best service in the industry,” says Keller. “I am pleased to help write a new and positive chapter in Sea Star’s history. This continues to be a challenging trade.  Structural changes will be essential if carriers are to reinvest during the important years ahead."
