IYC has announced that Frank Grzeszczak and Frank Grzeszczak, Jr. have signed Deep Blue  II as a new central listing; Alan Leigh has signed Corona Del Mar.

With an impressive track record of seven superyachts sold in November/December 2012, two new centrals by mid January puts IYC on the fast track for early 2013.

Deep Blue II, 143.7’ (43.8m) Oceanco, 1996/2012
o   Asking Price: $12,750,000
o   Broker/CA: Frank Grzeszczak & Frank Grzeszczak, Jr.
o   Location: Miami

The 143.7’ (43.8m) Deep Blue II is the success story that combines quality construction with a detailed and thoughtful design that considers every aspect of life on board from the domain of the owner and his guest to that of the crew and their working areas. She’s a past winner at the ShowBoats International Design Awards for Best Semi-Displacement Yacht of over 40m. This all-aluminum tri deck motoryacht—built by Oceanco in 1996 as Ultimate—has a range of 2,800 nautical miles. Twin 2250hp MTU engines give Deep Blue II a cruising speed of 15 knots; she achieves a top speed of approximately 19 knots. Deep Blue II’s Paolo Rossi interior accommodates 10 guests in five staterooms including a full beam main deck master suite.  Her 2007/2012 refits include (to name but a few highlights):

o   Fabrics, loose wood furnishing and new galley appliances
o   All vessel systems replaced, navigation systems duplicated, updated electronics and A/V
o   New paint, W-5 on mains and generators rebuilt
o   Quantum zero-speed stabilizers serviced and underwater lights replaced with LED
o   Skylounge deck extended

Corona Del Mar, 120’ (36.58m) Mefasa, 1991

o   Asking Price: $2,499,000
o   Broker/CA: Alan Leigh
o   Location: Florida

Originally built for the King of Spain, Corona Del Mar’s purpose was and is to provide high speed transit between destinations while providing luxurious accommodations. She is equally comfortable sprinting the Mediterranean islands as she is cruising the shallow turquoise Bahamas and other exotic destinations. Designed by Don Shead, Corona Del Mar is a 120' (36.58m) Mefasa 1991 performance luxury yacht that cruises at 26 knots and features a maximum speed of 40 knots. Her deep V hull is crafted to provide safety and stability in rough seas. She features twin MTU 538 engines and Series 80 KaMeWa water jets. In fact, her power is fully updated; all mechanical systems are in excellent condition. She has only 1500 hours on her main engines which are built for 6,000 hours at “MCR,” Maximum Continuous Rating military spec loads. Corona Del Mar accommodates up to eight guests in two queen staterooms and two twin cabins with Pullman berths and ample room for six crew.  Her formal dining salon can also be converted to an on-deck VIP stateroom for larger parties or be reconfigured to a country kitchen style galley for family living. From a sophisticated salon to an expansive sense of roominess throughout the yacht’s interior, and al fresco areas, Corona Del Mar is an exceptional value. She will also be offered as hybrid-capable for the eco-friendly enthusiast.
