SeeByte’s SeeTrack Military Now Compatible

Press Release
Friday, February 01, 2013

SeeByte, a leader in creating smart software for unmanned maritime systems, has announced the compatibility of its SeeTrack Military software systems with the Marine Sonic Technology, Ltd. high resolution Sea Scan HDS side-scan sonar system.

Ioseba Tena, Sales Manager at SeeByte commented; “Having successfully worked together with Marine Sonic Technology in the past, it seems only natural that both companies’ customers gain from the collaborative efforts of this work. Customers using the Marine Sonic Sea Scan HDS sonar can now visualise and process data from their newest side-scan sonar using SeeTrack Military.”

John C. De Mille, Sales & Marketing Director for Marine Sonic Technology, commented; “I am pleased to be able to offer our customers the ability to utilise our newest model of side-scan sonar, the Sea Scan HDS, with SeeByte’s SeeTrack Military software. This co-operation will not only benefit our customers, but will provide further opportunities for both companies to apply their technologies to a wider range of Underwater Vehicles.”

SeeByte’s SeeTrack Military software is an open-architecture platform solution for rapid on-site analysis and data fusion that can be easily adapted for specific user needs.  Developed as a mission-planning, monitoring, post-processing and reporting tool, this software technology has been successfully deployed on numerous surveys, military and security operations and scientific experiments.
