Vyborg Shipbuilding Yard Wins Fishing-Refrigerating Contract

According to a Turkmenistan report, the Vyborg Shipbuilding Yard of Russia won a contract to design and build six fishing-refrigerating vessels for the State Committee of Fishing Industry of Turkmenistan. Turkmen President Saparmurat Niyazov signed a relevant decree yesterday. The value of the contract is approximately $148.5 million. Construction work is scheduled to begin in January 2006, with delivery by April 2008. Source: Turkmenistan
