A Progressive Barge Lines 2400 hp 75 x 28-ft. pushboat has a bright new paint job and is nearly ready to be swung into the canal.  A second boat, which was being built at Eymard Bros. Towing’s yard at 2500 Peters Rd along the opposite side of the canal, was gone from the yard. It is back down the canal at 1300 Peters Road where it is being finished out. Lee Leboeuf had purchased the boat with all the steel work completed and the engines installed. After having the house sand blasted and primed he has the boat back at his L&L Marine Transportation yard. He will finish it out and add it as the fourth vessel in his all Cummins-powered fleet. Although his other three boats are powered by Cummins KTA19 engines this will be his first with the 850 HP Cummins KTA38 engines.
