Nominations for Engineer, Scientist Awards

All military and civilian personnel may apply. The purpose of these two annual awards is to honor an engineer, scientist, or a team of engineers and/or scientists from NAVSEA headquarters or field activity, whose contributions or performance have enhanced the engineering or scientific profession. One individual or a team will be selected for each of the Engineer and Scientist of the Year Award categories. All nominations, including field activity nominations--via their chain-of-command--must be submitted to Ms. Miriam Slantis at NAVSEA HQs in Bldg 197/3E-3698 by COB Friday, April 14. Nominations of executive personnel, i.e., Senior Executive Service (SES) and equivalent, are to be forwarded to Ms. Sonya Samuel of the NAVSEA Senior Executive Human Resources Program Branch (SEA 1073) by COB April 10.
