Myanmar Signs Gas Deal with China

According to a report from the Associated Press, Myanmar's government and four foreign companies have signed an agreement to sell natural gas from offshore fields to neighboring China, state media said on Dec. 29, 2008. The agreement, signed on Dec. 24, was the first for sales of gas from Myanmar's northwestern offshore fields.
