MarAd Use of Foreign Anchor Handling Vessels in Alaska

The US Maritime Administration (MarAd) issued a notice stating that it received a request to utilize foreign-flag anchor handling vessels with a minimum ice class A3 in US waters of the Beaufort Sea and Chukchi Sea adjacent to Alaska through December 31, 2009.  Nominations of US-flag anchor handling vessels ice class A3 or above available for this work must be submitted by April 30.
