Mackay Marine announces new SW Regional Sales Manager

Mackay Communications announces that Oscar Solis has been hired as the new Southwest Regional Sales Manager, reporting to Mackay’s Vice-President of Sales David Lemoine. Oscar will be based out of our Mackay Marine-Houston Depot.

Oscar brings extensive sales experience from the wireless technology industry, mobile workforce management, software/platform and hardware solutions, test & measurement instrumentation along with complete broadband services communications. Mr. Solis has held positions with Sprint as a Regional & Channel Sales Manager providing all three major product portfolio offerings. In addition, he has also served as the Regional & Latin America Sales Manager for Itronix Corp. in integrated RF wireless/Bluetooth/rugged laptop and handheld computers to various industries, more specifically the oil and gas markets. He also served as the Central Regional Sales Manager at Digital Lightwave selling both portable telecommunication test sets and remote test network software to major Telco companies of high broadband digital and fiber optic circuits.

Oscar has lived in the Houston area for over 20 years and resides in the Missouri City, TX area. He and his wife Betty have one grown son and one nine year granddaughter who happens to be a slave to fashion! Lastly, Oscar’s passion is playing guitar in blues/rock band and riding his bicycle to various sites in his local community on weekends.
