Friday, March 30, 2007
Elliott Bay Design Group's (EBDG) New Orleans office has added new staff and projects. Seattle-based EBDG opened its New Orleans branch in November 2006 with the key hires of Michael Walker, General Manager, and Sam Charters, Chief Marine Engineer. Recently joining the New Orleans staff as Senior Naval Architect is Steve McKnight, bringing with him 17 years of experience supporting the marine and offshore service industries. Steve has supported shipyards throughout the Gulf region and most recently served as Chief Naval Architect at VT Halter. An additional naval architect will join the team in mid April, and the office is continuing its recruiting efforts for multiple positions.
